Aloha my name is Kevin Lash the owner of this business I take great pride in. I am very proud of the unique services as well as the exceptional quality of photography and the overall products and services we provide.
I am first and foremost an artistic photographer with over 24 years of exp
erience; 7 years as a professional shooting portraits, models, commercial photography and principally weddings.
Hawaii Wedding Photo was recently 'Island Wedding Photography' and some searches and affiliates still have not updated my name change. I chose Hawaii Wedding Photo to match my longtime URL (www.HawaiiWeddingPhoto.com) and because it is easy to remember even though it is not the most elegant of names nor is it grammatically correct in the Hawaiian culture which is why you will see it spelled correctly whenever possible on my site, Hawai'i (hA vai, ee).
As a photographer I travel to the other islands to shoot and provide the same services at the same prices as on my home base of Maui plus actual, minimum travel costs. The reality is that when you look at the travel and package totals I am still competitive on any of the islands with a great and consistent product.
For many years I was a very traditional style photographer; specializing in formal poses coming from a mostly landscape style prior to that. Since making my dream and 
passion my life's work I have grown to be very skilled artistically and photo-journalistically as well and I incorporate all aspects of my art into every shoot. I have shot well over 200 weddings in my short career with a perfect record; that is I have never had images from a card damaged or lost; or negatives ruined by a lab, knock on wood! I also have never failed to meet or exceed my wedding photo clients expectations and am cool and comfortable in pressure situations due to my approach, style and experience.
Customer Service is most important to me. While I know I can provide the highest quality photography it is often most challenging to be provide high-quality customer service and is my highest priority.
As a photography client you will get the most personal attention and I will work with you ahead of your special day to make sure those 'most important' shots to you are not missed.
You will receive the following services with every wedding shoot at rates that are well below market for what I do:
1. Each shoot comes with your own 'Wedding Blog' which is a personal homage to your most special day and including lots of large size photos for you and your family and friends to view usually within a day or two of your wedding (or ceremony). [See the 'Wedding Blog' page for examples.]

. You also receive a complimentary artistically designed 'virtual' Coffee-Table style album that is ready to go to press if you decide to purchase one of these amazing fine-art books in either an acid-free archival seamless book with custom photo cover or a HIGH-END fine art Giclee book that is absolutely gorgeous and about 25% more than the high quality standard albums. Album credits are issued with each service and are good for 60 days after your wedding. Payment options are usually available on albums, as well, to help eleviate the high costs involved in your wedding.
3. All images that will be on your final disc (you get all your worthwhile images) are uploaded to private proofing locations on this site with the links emailed to you to view and/or share with your friends and family.
4. Finally you get your images, once your order is completed or waived, on a disc in high-resolution image files personally touched-up with each image inspected by me. You will receive these as part of your package price with 'Lifetime Royalty Rights' giving you the legal right to reproduce and 
share your disc and the images it contains with others as long as the purpose is non-commercial. Your images are a family heirloom and we want you to have them without unreasonable additional fees, long wait times and in a format that is easily reproducible and easy to care for, unlike negatives.
As a Wedding Coordinator client you will get the following:
1. Lots of options to customize your wedding rather it is just the two of you or with 200 guests. EVERY WEDDING is CUSTOMIZED to suit you.
2. We charge you for each service that we are charged, there are never any mark-ups. We simply look at the length of your wedding, complexity, number of guests and if a second person will need to be on-site and charge you a one-time coordination fee that is reasonable and fair.
3. You will only get the most professional and dependable vendors with the highest quality of standards.
4. Satisfaction! I started coordinating weddings about a year ago because I got v
ery easy and personable clients who could not get the wedding they wanted from the other planners on the island they had contacted. I have developed quite an amazing network of vendors and a handful of extremely happy and loyal clients who's weddings I planned for them.
5. No competition. My wife is a wonderful officient and I am a fantastic photographer, however, I have developed many exceptional ties with 'the competition' and work with them all the time so if you need us to book a different minister or photographer or bring your own this is perfectly acceptable to us.
6. A second perspective and hand when needed. My wife Kayla sometimes helps with this aspect of the business and is an invaluable partner.
